We are pleased to announce the Richmond Farmers Market is Located now at one place only North 7th and A Streets or commonly called the Library Parking Lot The Farmers Market is officially up and going and we look forward to a great year. We all have are fingers crossed that Richmond , Indiana receives the Stellar Communities Grant. This will bring Richmond a first class Farmers Market Venue and create an uptown destination that people will want to visit from all over the Country. Connecting this City's rich history ( being the Depot area) to a vibrant City Center! I would like to thank everyone who is working so hard toward Richmond receiving this grant and I have a good feeling about it being successful. The 2012 Richmond Farmers Market was a huge success and we saw a lot of new vendors and customers. The Market is growing faster than ever before because the population has began to understand the value of eating healthy. It is literally field to fork here. Items must be Home Grown or Hand Made You will find all sorts of locally grown fresh produce and plants in season at the Richmond Farmers Market. The Market has some of the regions best produce and vegetable farmers as well as some amazing craft artisans. The Farmers Market is located Tuesdays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at North 7th Street and North A street or as most refer to it as the Library Parking Lot and the Saturday Market is 7:00 am till Noon. Come See and support your local Farmers and understand why this is Richmond/Wayne County Indiana's best kept Secret We would like everyone to know that the Richmond Farmers Market is totally self sustained and does not take any hand outs or grants . The $5.00 dollar vendor fee goes directly back into the Market by advertising, website expenses, signage and market coordination. The Richmond Farmers Market is not affiliated with the Winter Farmers Market or the Townsend Community Center Market , though we do advise them occasionally. We help our vendors to be successful. If you do not have many sales the Richmond Farmers Market does not charge you and will help you to create a more desirable product or appealing display. Everyone is Welcome to become a vendor. We want everyone to succeed and have helped a number of small businesses get there start here. We also routinely donate fresh produce to local food pantries to insure the needy get fresh vegetables in their diets Contact the Market Coordinator Daren Smith at 765-373-9065 or daren.smith2@gmail.com |
